@shanny8.bsky.social It’s not even an outer part. It’s as suburban as it gets. Like they have MARTA buses and GA 400 expansion 79 times to accommodate all them up there. It’s like calling The Woodlands, Plano, Scottsdale, or Evanston a small town at this point.

@starrwulfe.xyz The Gulch was needed to push the freeway through and get the Poplar St Bridge built and they used eminent domain to get mostly Black and Chinese-Americans out of there. There was almost a loop around downtown from the I-44/55 jct north to I-70 along 18/20 sts but it was cancelled in 1984
